The 1981 Donruss Rickey Henderson #119 is the second-year card of baseball's all-time stolen base king. By this time, Henderson had already posted back-to-back 100+ steal seasons, establishing himself as one of the most disruptive forces in the game. The card features a classic Donruss design with Rickey mid-stride, highlighting the speed and confidence that defined his game.
Still, Henderson remained a larger-than-life figure. A fun anecdote: Rickey once framed a $1 million bonus check and forgot to cash it ' a perfect summary of how little traditional norms applied to Rickey's world.
